Verification is handled privately by a small group of established local workers listed specifically on our “verified” page as team members.

Submit a request to connect with a verifier, who will confirm you’re a real local worker without collecting or publishing more information than necessary.

On first contact, you and your verifier will agree on a verification method you’re both comfortable with. In most cases, this will require a brief in-person meeting.

Once verified, you’ll be listed as verified through Verified Ottawa so others can easily confirm your status.

NOTE: If you are in the CORAS discord, you’ve already been verified. Please reach out there in the Verified Ottawa forum to be listed here.

If you are looking to help verify, please fill out the form as intended so we can verify you as well (again, unless you are pre-verified with CORAS).
